Can’t wait to live my life with you.

I love this song. It always reminds me so much of my partner and I.  We’ve been together for twelve years and only a hand full of people really know the two of us.  The few people who know us, know how much we love each other, the uglies and all.

Looks like we made it
Look how far we’ve come my baby
We mighta took the long way
We knew we’d get there someday
They said “I bet they’ll never make it”
But just look at us holding on
We’re still together still going strong
I’m so excited, giddy, and nervous for Monday!  It’s going to be a beautiful disaster. Don’t you think?  Can’t wait to share the photos with all of you. YAY! After many years, I’ll finally be visiting Seattle for my mini-honeymoon.  Hoping everything goes smooth and well.  I’ve always wanted to settle down in Washington, so hopefully I can convince Steveo to fall in love with the state.
I finished my last exam this week.  I got an A in my computer systems analysis and design course.  I got a B in macro economics (not too bad, especially since my schedule was packed).  I’ll have a full load next semester but won’t be working as much. Whoo hoo! I am definitely blessed beyond means.  God is good.
Programming has been a gift.  I think there’s something beautiful about being a program director through a voluntary lens.  There’s so much work that goes into but less restraint, in terms of what you’re bound to.  There’s flexibility to move with vision and creativity.  The traditional rules of non profits (the industrial complex) doesn’t apply. It’s been a gift building relationships, hearing stories, and has been a privilege being able to work with such an organization with such a beautiful mission.  You meet so many people from different walks of life.  Giving back, should not be a career, just a train of thought.
How are all of you lovelies?  Thank you for helping me achieve a new blog status, last week. You all are so amazing.

Much love,
