I was listening to some of my favorite songs, from high school yesterday, and just wanted to share how beautiful and applicable these lyrics still are today. I’ve always been a fan of lyrics, song meanings, and acoustics. Music about sex, money, and drugs never appealed to me. That’s been true for as long as I can remember. Here are a couple of my favorite songs from my adolescent years.
But tell me did you sail across the sun
Did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded
And that heaven is overrated?Tell me, did you fall from a shooting star
One without a permanent scar
And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there?
I’ve been working on a new wood piece, for my Hmong wedding. Steveo is really fond of the feather grey and white. We headed over to Goodwill and bought a $6.00 wood basket. We then unscrewed the hinges and painted over it. We will be doing a second layer this week and will be painting the locks/hinges white. We’ll be using the box to collect envelope gifts. Looks so pretty for six dollars. It’s approximately 24 inches in length and twelve inches in height. It’s really sturdy. Another item for keeps ❤
