The Beloved Waste.

I found a bird,
trapped in threads
of human waste.
About to drown,
in its own home.
Its own habitat,
defiled by God’s
most beloved creation.
God’s most beloved,
has destroyed
the world He
made for them.
He watches them
destroy the earth,
nature, animals,
the air, and others.
He weeps for them.
So I wept for the bird,
and set it free.
Broke the threads.
Watched it swim,
away.  In hopes –
that he may survive
the next time
around.

Knowing, he will
most likely drown,
in the Beloved’s
blue water turned brown.
